1. What am I doing?
A. For the main part I'm just using higher quality raws, proof reading scripts, and releasing chapters of Negima. Chapters 90 and onward for a bit are pretty rough quality, visually speaking, and I want to release them in a higher quality.
2. Isn't that just ripping translations and slapping them on a better scan?
A. Basically yeah. I look at the raws and clean up any translations I think are a bit off, and I also try to clean up any grammar issues. I may or may not edit extra sound effects depending on their importance, context, and my laziness level. Also, I do ask permission and credit the original team.
3. Any future projects in mind besides cleaning up Negima?
A. I'd love to clean up Great Teacher Onizuka. If you visit the online readers, the series quickly becomes unreadable what with translated text on top of colored bubbles that are on top of the raw text.
B. Frankly my Japanese sucks. If I found someone willing to translate some stuff, then I'd love to try and do Usagi Drop at a faster rate than the current scanlator. As it stands right now I might do it myself anyway and you'll just have to take the scans with a grain of salt since the translation may be incorrect.
C. Yuri. Raws can be hard to come by though.
D. Any other manga I find interesting that could be updated.
