Notes:

• From what I understand, the 1080 version is just an upscale of the 720.
• I decided to do the 1080 since Coalgirls is doing 720 only and I don't know any other groups that consistently do blu-rays and are doing Merry.
• It's my first time doing this, so it might suck.  Let me know where and how it does.
• TL notes assume you've watched some anime before and have basic knowledge of some honorifics (-kun, -san, -chan, -sensei), but not others (-buchou).

Random thoughts:  Nice hats and cute cats.  Merry has such a very nice hat.  I knew this before, but encoding can take forever.  Especially when it's 1:30 and it's still 50 minutes until it is done because the first encode screwed up when my computer decided to go to sleep....  Also I suck at Shogun 2.

Alive and Well

My injuries have stopped hurting and I have news.  First, I'll be helping out to release more yuri with Lililicious.  I passed their editing test and will be working with them as an editor. 

Second, Yumekui Merry is coming out soon.  The only reason it is not out is I'm new at the whole encoding thing so I'm trying to figure out how to balance the quality and file size.  If I had to wager a guess, tomorrow or the day after 1 and 2 should be out.

Third, I added Hourou Musuko (Wandering Son) to my "to do" list.  I like the manga better, but the show isn't bad.  There are few things I want to change in the translations when the Blu-Ray versions come out.

Fourth, everything got delayed because I get soooo distracted.  I recently got Shogun: Total War 2 and I started watching Denpa Onna.  On that note I want to do Blu-Ray's for that as well, or I might even put out my own cut and paste version using whatever raws I can grab now.  I like Mazui and GotWoot's tl's, but sometimes it doesn't flow well or the other group does a line slightly better.  *Thinks on it*.  Either way I've got tons to do.

Soooo I got injured.  Sorry for the delays.  Luckily I'll be able to resume editing stuff soon.

First Real Release

Edit:  V2'd for a couple of pages that didn't look good with the original compression.  Also made page 13 look much better.

Random thoughts while editing:  This was my first bit of a challenge.  All the Negima raws I've come by have been pretty nice and easy for me.  This time there was a lot of dust and a few bleeds.  I'm not confident I got rid of them all in a nice looking way either.  That said, I also found out my screen and glasses have spots on them, leading me to spend 5 minutes wondering why I couldn't get rid of a spot on the scan.

Of notable frustration was page 13 where covering up the bleed doesn't look elegant at all.  Page 15 seemed like a breeze, but then I saw the bleeds.  Combine that with those flares from the light, it took a bit.  That said, I had fun and hope you enjoy.

Yumekui Merry

Yumekui Merry Blu-rays with modified gg subs coming out probably.  Japanese name order and honorifics, getting rid of some of the localizations, etc.  I realize coalgirls is doing this, but I want to try this series for my first go at subbing.

Hello World

I'll release Negima chapters in batches since they are "old" releases and as such I can take my time with them.
